What is Dermaplaning?

Dermaplaning is a non-invasive technique done using a sterile  surgical blade. It exfoliates the top layer of skin (Stratum Corneum), brightens the skin, minimizes imperfections, removes fine vellus hairs (Peach Fuzz), increases cell turnover, increases product penetration, and make-up sits more smoother on the skin.

Those with active acne or cold sores  can not get Dermaplaning done on the infected areas due to the spreading of potential bacteria or virus this can lead to a wider spread infection that can cause more inflammation, sometimes pigmentation, and even scarring.

After Dermaplaning I recommend clients to come back every 4-6 weeks but can stop at any time! Do not expose your face in the sun, work out right after, and no swimming (pools/hot tub). Can exfoliate yourself 2-3 days after appointment.

Results will differ depending on a client's individual hair-growth cycle and at home care.
